The push for constitutional recognition of Indigenous peoples as the first Australians seems to be gaining traction.

But the movement has been marred by inaction and avoidance by both major political parties for years.

With groups like Recognise bringing the issue to national attention with their tour around the country - how far away are we on a referendum on this issue?
