November 2013's guest for In Conversation was visiting German musician, Markus Popp. Staged for Sydney Living Museum's Around the World Speaker Series and Sound Summit, Popp talked about his influential electronic output as Oval, 21st century music production, and how geography, culture and environment impacts creativity. Inspired by the Museum of Sydney's 52 Suburbs Around the World exhibition featuring Louise Hawson's photos of Berlin, this intimate chat also provided unique insights into Popp's adopted home city. Chatting with Paris Pompor, Popp also answered audience questions, inspiring one of his most amusing stories about collaboration. ABC's Big Ideas program was there to film it, airing it on ABC TV on Friday February 28, 2014 as a half-hour segment.
