Living Data Labs: Where Art and Science Collide

Art and Science: two areas that are usually considered to be opposite ends of a spectrum. But they're being brought together in the Ultimo Science Festival. Recognising their combined potential to change society, the Living Data Lab exhibition seeks to ignore their traditional separation.

The Living Data Lab is a special exhibition displaying climate science data through various art forms. You'll be surprised by visualisations evolving from conversations between scientists and artists. The artworks are in many forms and media including animations, dance, living labs, interactive installations, music, painting and sculpture.

Dr Lisa Roberts, the lead curator of the exhibition, joined host Sam in the studio to tell us more about the project, who is involved, the collaborators and most importantly, what they hope to achieve.

Producer: Vincent Su and Rabab Hannan
