Grids and Dots: Talks Imposter Friends, single premier & upcoming EP

Grids and Dots, is a dreamy 5 piece band based in Sydney, exuding a mix of shoegaze, hazy 80s, indi synth vibes. A melodic duo project created by Daniel Handaru and Carmen Minikus, which soon grew into a family of 5 with the addition of Pat Hisshion on drums, Elias Khoury on Synth and Saskia Clapton on bass.

The band joined Annie for a chat about the inspiration behind their music, with stories from their past friendships told through nostalgic, rose tinted glasses. Lots of laughter to conceal the real Imposter in the group.  Plus an absolute treat to a live stripped back version of their unreleased single, “Movies at Your House”. The 3rd song  for their upcoming EP “Found you on the weekend”.

Catch them live at the Lord Gladstone Hotel, 16th of May- grab your tickets, here .
