A View From The Hill – The Rugby League Supporters Program goes to air on Saturday’s from 11am to Midday on 2SER 107.3FM. The show was started in 1999 by Robert Corra and over the course of the last seven years has grown steadily in popularity to the point where it now has a large ‘cult’ following. Because the opinions of rugby league supporters have been, in the main, ignored by the NRL, we believe this program is a necessity. During the course of the last eight seasons we have given various supporter groups and the general public the opportunity to air their views on the events which were affecting their clubs without fear of being cut off or persecuted if those views happen to be different to ours. In contrast to the mainstream media, we were the only media outlet which completely supported South Sydney and its cause during its time in exile. We have also lent our full support to Manly’s bid to return to Brookvale, R2K’s successful efforts at re-establishing Kogarah Jubilee as the Dragons’ Sydney base and North Sydney’s (Central Coast) attempts at regaining their place in the elite competition, as well as dealing with the major issues affecting Rugby League each week. So much of the media coverage is of a particularly "soft" and compliant nature but A View From The Hill offers an alternative and brutally honest opinion. In 2006, A View From The Hill was on 52 weeks a year. A View From The Hill - Summer Edition kept you up to date with all the latest League happenings as well as covering Cricket in our own inimitable style. A View From The Hill - the show run by fans for fans!
