Jumping the Gap
Wednesday 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Jumping The Gap with Paris is a weekly plunge into anything from psychedelic-funk to dub-reggae, soundtracks to free-jazz. Whether it's old or yet-to-be released, a demo or an exclusive gap-jumping re-edit, sounds are sourced from downtown Sydney to Athens' Monastiraki. We may leap about, teeter close to the edge or even nosedive into the blue beyond sometimes, but there'll always be a guide-rope (admittedly frayed and tenuous) providing some connection with a loose notion of "groove".
