1. Radio Presentation & Digital Production

Voice, breathing, microphone techniques, panelling on-air, preparing your story and scriptwriting. Recording, editing audio, putting,effects and mixing to go to air.  You produce a piece of sound/audio/story at the end of the workshops. Held over 3 sessions.  $1100

2. Digital Production

Everything you need to know about recording broadcast quality sound within industry standards. Recording audio, editing, mixing music and sound effects when putting together your audio piece. Use of latest industry editing software within state of the art radio lab right in Sydney CBD, within the University of Technology campus. $660.

3. Radio Presentation & Story Production

Work on your breathing techniques, voice, articulation, pace, pause, pitch & rhythm to sound good on air. Learn and apply industry standard on-air techniques applying the right approach when using equipment such as microphones and on-air consoles. Learn to hear and love your own radio voice. Know and apply the scripting techniques for news, current affairs, community announcements or a freestyle piece on-air. Produce your own audio piece as an outcome.  $660

1. Radio Announcing & Production

Presenting on-air, Producing stories to present on-air. Learn good voice techniques - understand good articulation, enunciation, breathing and voice modulation combined with industry standard on-air techniques. Make the most of your voice and learn how to use varied tones for your particular audio project. Create an audio piece for you to build on or add into your CV and showreel. Learn audio editing, using voice, music, sound effects using the latest digital audio editing softwares at the radio lab. Understand what is involved when conducting an interview and producing interview pieces.

2. News, Current Affairs and the Radio Industry

Learn and understand defamation, copyright, and relevant broadcasting law, including legal and ethical issues when applying news and current affairs radio techniques. Understand news values, news scripting and editing and what makes current affairs. In the current media climate, learn to understand converging skills, knowledge and perspective within the digital age. Produce your own news and current affairs piece.

3. Executive Certificate in Digital Production & Podcasting

Understand and learn editing and producing audio digitally. Turn your audio into podcasts where you can access and retrieve edited pieces whenever you want it.  Understand & learn techniques in podcasting creating your own audio pieces and link into your websites. An ideal postgraduate course,  or for hobbyists, sound afficionadoes and professionals wanting industry standard skills in digital production & podcasting. Courses offered for one week in a training block.
