20 Million Account Details With The Commonwealth Bank Lost

Details of roughly 20 million accounts with the Commonwealth Bank have been lost, with statements from 2000-2016 which included customers names, addresses, account numbers and transaction details. The bank ordered an investigation to figure out how the statements, stored on two magnetic tapes, were lost. However they still failed to let customers know. We spoke to Gregory Mowle, a lecturer at the University of Canberra to answer some of our questions.
