a river is a witness

‘a river is a witness’ is a solo exhibition by Jagath Dheerasekara, a multi-disciplinary artist whos exhibition traces memories of the 1987-1990 Southern People’s Uprising in Sri Lanka, events that remain largely undocumented and often unspoken. Through photography, installation, and video, he creates an archive of traces, of silence, of what persists even when history tries to erase it.
