Extraterrestrials Or Radio Interference?

Astronomers from the Breakthrough Listen Project at Parkes Radio telescope detected an interesting signal that seemed tantalisingly like it was a signal from alien technology. However, after some analysis, it turned out it was a signal caused by radio interference. While disappointing, this event is an interesting case study of the processes used by Breakthrough Listen to analyse candidate signals.
