A Stella prize for International Womens Day

Stella have released their Stella Prize short list for books that  “speak absolutely to our moment”. Each shortlisted author will receive $3,000 and for the fourth year running, each of the shortlistees will head off to an all expenses paid writing retreat supported by the Trawalla Foundation.

Debut novelist Jamie Marina Lau’s spoke to Alex James on International Women’s Day about what it means to have her book Pink Mountain on Locust Island on the shortlist this year.
