Adani Fined Following Pollution of Queensland Wetlands

Controversial mining company, Adani was fined more than thirteen thousand dollars last week following an incident which the Queensland Department of Environment and Science labelled a breach of its environmental obligations.

The incident occurred at the Abbot Point coal terminal and affected the Caley Valley Wetlands which are known for their rich ecosystem. Peter McCallum from Mackay Conservation group joined the Wednesdaily to discuss the implications of such a breach.
