Affordable housing near the city helps economic growth: study

According to a new study, having more affordable housing closer to the city, doesn’t just benefit low income earners, it also brings about some huge economic benefits.

The researchers of the study by UNSW have called on governments to assess public policy expenditure by treating housing as economic infrastructure, the same way they treat roads and public transport.
