Africultures Festival: Celebrating the African Australian community

The Africultures Festival in Lidcombe has been been held annually since 2009. Taking place on March 11 this year, the event celebrates the diverse range of African cultures within Australia, with traditional dance, food and music. The festival’s director, Adama Kamara, spoke with Nic about how she hopes the festival will bridge the gap between Africans and Australians.
