AI and film – interview with director of “About a Hero”

Questions about technology, art and consciousness are abundant in a new film “About a Hero,” which involves a collaboration with artificial intelligence that draws on the works  of filmmaker Werner Herzog in a way that tests whether the work of this renegade artist can be recreated and what this says about human interconnection.

Stephen Hill talked to director Piotr Winiewicz whose film gets its Australian premiere at the Antenna Film Festival.
