ALP policy recognises Community Radio contribution

The Labor communications policy is providing $29 million over three years to community media, with $12 million of that going to community radio.  Shadow Communications Minister Michelle Rowland cites the essential work Community radio stations provided during floods, pandemic and bushfires.

She also backs in the announcement today by Shadow Treasurer Jim Chalmers that the petrol excise relief is only temporary and the tax on fuel will be back on in September.
