Shanasheel Iraqi Cultural Festival

The Shanasheel Iraqi Cultural Festival returns to Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre, bringing together the very best in Iraqi arts and culture for an action-packed day on Sunday 18 November.

 

This year’s program includes a free market fair day called The Bazaar of Bagdad, award-winning short films from Iraqi-Australians, a classical music concert from the MACAM Music Ensemble, and a keynote speech from orthopaedic surgeon and former asylum seeker Dr. Munjed Al Muderis.
