Serhat Caradee, Writer/Director of A Lion Returns

Over the past few years the Australian government has been confronted by the issue of what to do when Australian citizens want to return after being involved in conflicts abroad.

But what does a regular family do when the black sheep of the family returns from Syria and wants to visit?

That’s the premise of writer/director Serhat Caradee’s new film A Lion Returns, which opens on November 5.

The film stars Tyler De Nawi and Danny Elacchi as brothers Jamal and Omar, who see the Syrian conflict from totally different perspectives.
