Animation Series Teaching Guugu Yimithirr language

Recently the United Nations suggested that more work is needed to protect, revitalise, preserve and promote Indigenous languages. As a result, they have declared the period between 2022 and 2032 as the International Decade of Indigenous Languages.

Within Australia the team at Thudaan Diini are working to maintain the Guugu Yimithirr language. They are the makers of a new YouTube series that features puppetry, animation, song and live action.
