Annie-Rose Maloney on ‘Circle Walking’, Dinner Parties & Teaching

There’s no one doing it quite like Melbourne based alt-folk singer, Annie-Rose Maloney.

Holding herself with an air of humility and familiarity, Annie-Rose Maloney is one of Naarm’s gems. Tucked away in the scene, yet having played some of the country’s most iconic stages. The alt-folk/country singer is just as delightful as she is talented.

Her highly-anticipated Debut album, Circle Walking is a feat – showcasing the best of what Annie has to offer. Her highly impactful lyrics strung together with stripped back guitar or keys, is only emphasised by the choir of her friends that surround her.

Dream State host Jas sat down with Annie this week to chat about the release of ‘Circle Walking’, friendship and playing at the Sydney Opera House.
