April: Adopt a Greyhound Month

April is just around the corner, and for those looking to add a new furry member to the family, April is ‘Adopt a Greyhound Month’ in Sydney!

Following on from the revelations of the McHugh report into the Greyhound Industry there was a big public backlash against the mistreatment of greyhounds. Fortunately, there are organisations that work to provide some of these dogs with a home, offering a service that matches a greyhound with a particular household’s need.

For this week Greyhound Rescue (GR), a Sydney based charity is offering a discount of $100 dollars off the adoption fee for greyhounds.

With over 50 rescued dogs in need of a loving home. Stephen spoke with Greyhound Rescue, co-founder, Peter Flann.
