Are batteries the environmental Achilles heel of electric vehicles?

With the rise in electric car use, it’s safe to say our environment is better off … right? 

According to new research from Swinburne University, that might not entirely be the case. 

They’ve done the work, by digging into the inner layers of electrical vehicles to see how sustainable their components really are. Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering from Swinburne University, Mehdi Seyedmahmoudian joins RTR FM’s Madeleine Lombardi to discuss more.
