Are We Heading Towards A Recession?

It’s official. The US share markets have tumbled. On Thursday, Sydney woke up to find that the Dow Jones had fallen by 800 points, wiping out the gains from the previous day, when Trump announced he was delaying new tariffs on Chinese goods. The severe drop has coincided with rising fears that the US is nearing a recession. Such an event would not only affect the world’s most powerful economy, but it would impact Australia and the rest of the global economy.
