ECR – Mitigating and Managing Cancer Medication

Dr. Ashfaq Chauhan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and health services researcher at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences in Macquarie University. He took part in the Early Career Research award track hosted by Macquarie University, with his research looking into creating a tool that makes managing medication easier for cancer patients from linguistically diverse backgrounds, by ensuring patients are given simplified tools to assist them in becoming aware of any potential side effects and ensuring the right dosage and medication is taken.
