Australia Day and Contention with First Nations Community

Each year thousands of people gather to rally against the celebration of Australia day, a day that many believe should be a day to mourn the beginning of colonial oppression. Believed to be a day of invasion many Australians both indigenous and non indigenous argue that the date should be completely abolished or changed all together.
