Australian AI literacy and trust levels among the lowest worldwide

A new study by the Melbourne Business School and KPMG has found that while half of Australians regularly use artificial intelligence, the nation has some of the lowest global levels of AI literacy and trust towards AI.

The study also found growing numbers of employees around the world are inappropriately using AI.

As AI continues to be increasingly integrated into our lives, the study has called for more regulation, governance and education in this evolving space.
