Australian Bird of the Year 2019

November 14th saw the final day of voting for one Australia’s primary annual-fauna-supremacy-polls; ‘Australian Bird of the Year 2019’ by Australian Bird Life, in conjunction with the Guardian.

Sean Dooley, Editor of Australian Bird Life was kind enough to join Thursday Drive mere minutes the closure of votes to discuss all things Aussie bird. Sidd and Sean discussed the birds in contention, voting controversies and bot-infiltration, The Aussie Backyard Bird-count and effects that bush fires along Australia’s eastern-states might have on our feathered friends.
