Australian Duck Farming

Each year in Australia, approximately  9 million ducks are farmed and slaughtered for consumption. The industry is worth more than $100 million annually and it is littered with cruel practices.

 

This week, Animal Liberation NSW was anonymously handed footage from three duck farming sites in New South Wales and Victoria. The footage exposes several inhumane practices and Animal Liberation NSW Spokesperson Alex Vince spoke about the practices involved in the farming of ducks in Australia.
