Australian Screening Program to Test Hearing Loss in Children

Macquarie research has confirmed the wide-reaching benefits of discovering hearing issues as early as possible. More than half a million school children will have their hearing tested in the next five years as part of a free national screening program announced recently. This program, Sound Scouts has proved to demonstrate cost effectiveness and has thus received committed government funding.
