Australians with disabilities at higher risk from preventable cancers

New research from the University of Melbourne shows Australians with a disability are more prevalent to die from preventable types of cancer.

The main reason is because people with disabilities are missing out on potential life-saving screening programs because it’s too late or because the programs are not suitable for these patients.
