Australia’s Butterfly Boom

We’ve been on the tail end of a butterfly population boom over the last few months in Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Ideal rainfall has allowed for the favourite plants of many butterfly species to flourish and maintain their numbers into the cooler months.

2SER Breakfast’s Alex James spoke with Australia’s leading butterfly expert Professor Michael Braby from ANU to learn more about this phenomenon.
