Beating the Christmas credit crunch

Christmas can be a magical time with friends, family and beautifully wrapped gifts.

But when the new year comes around and Christmas is a distant memory, the accumulating interest and charges from items bought on credit, can come as a nasty surprise.

There are a plethora of credit card products now available, some with zero interest rates, but are they too good to be true?
