Blackwater State High and Reconciliation plan recognised

In 2022, Blackwater State High received the Queensland Reconciliation Award for Education due to its development of a Reconciliation Action Plan. This plan was a consequence of a three year journey which began in 2020 when Blackwater State High sought to strengthen its engagement with Indigenous communities.

The Queensland Reconciliation Awards for 2023 are open, and nominations close in February 2023.
