Blood Moon total eclipse

A spectacular blood moon total eclipse will be displayed across the skies of Australia and New Zealand. The event will take place at 4.11am on Monday September 8th.

This is where the moon darkens and then turns into a very beautiful rusty red colour.

This is the last total lunar eclipse for 2025.
