Brotherhood of St. Laurence scraps Work for the Dole

There are fresh calls for the Work for the Dole scheme to be reviewed after charitable organisation the Brotherhood of St. Laurence released an official statement that they would no longer be part of the scheme from 2024 onward.

However the The Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations in their media statement said that the Brotherhood of St Laurence had not participated in the Workforce Australia Scheme.
