Budget 2022 – ALP

This unusual second Federal Budget was an election commitment by the ALP and is a replacement for the usual MYEFO update early December in most years.

If begins the unwinding of policies of the previous government and the National’s in particular are up in arms about the wholesale cancelling of many regional programs.

Treasurer Jim Chalmers must walk a perilous line given the debt issues and the need to stimulate the economy given the low wages growth coupled to increasing inflation levels.
