Budget for First Nations crumbs on the table: Thorpe

The Federal Budget delivered on Tuesday offered little surprise for many.

Treasurer Dr Jim Chalmers announced $1.3 bn towards Closing the Gap and economic self-determination for First Nations communities.

While this received mixed reaction from Indigenous groups, Independent Senator for Victoria Lidia Thorpe responded to the Federal Budget, by saying it shows the Government has lost interest in pursuing justice for First Nations Peoples.
