How you can help save the Weedy Seadragon

They’re cute, they’re charismatic, but they’re also on the cusp of dying out.

The Weedy Seadragon is a popular, endemic species that lives along the stretch of Australia’s south coastline.

In an effort to save them, researchers and divers have begun taking underwater photos of the species and their signature spotty patterns, to track their numbers and see how populations have fluctuated over time.
