Changes to section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act

There has been much debate in recent weeks regarding the very controversial section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act. Just this week the Turnbull Government has proposed to change the wording of this section of the Act so that the word “harass” replaces “insult”, “offend” and “humiliate”.

To discuss the implications of these proposed reforms Adrian was joined by Professor Adrienne Stone from the Melbourne Law School.
