Climate Change and the Emergence of ‘Eco-Anxiety’

The worsening state of the environment has led to people developing symptoms referred to as “eco-anxiety”, leading to The Australian Medical Association to declare climate change as a health emergency. This statement is mirrored  by other medical bodies, including The World Health Organisation who refer to climate change as “the greatest threat to global health in the 21st Century”. 

 

Fiona Charlson, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Queensland joined The Daily to discuss this further.
