Wiles on piecing together her debut EP World Undone

Eora/Sydney-based artist Wiles (aka Ellen Fitzgibbon) has just unveiled her debut EP World Undone — a six-track collection blending hazy dream pop, grungy shoegaze, and moments of folky introspection. Out now on Blossom Rot Records, the project feels cohesive yet equally spontaneous, all pieced together from songs written and recorded over the past several years.

Ellen joined Alessia Lalli and Billy Keall live on Newfangled to chat about the making of World Undone, the joys (and chaos) of pulling together tracks from different collaborations, times, and headspaces, to an unexpected detour into the wacky world of Alvin and the Chipmunks.
