Cryptocurrency for everyday purchases: Is it possible in the near future?

Cryptocurrency may seem illusive for many Australians, having been mostly unregulated in the Australian market.

However, Australians may find themselves using ‘digital currency’ for everyday purchases in the near future.

With a new potential legislation  in the works to regulate use of cryptocurrency in Australia, it may soon become a new form of mainstream currency, that could potentially rival the big banks.

But not all Australians are familiar with cryptocurrency, so exactly who will benefit from it?
