Cyclone Debbie and the destruction of vegetable crops in QLD

The devastating effects of Cyclone Debbie, which swept across Queensland and northern NSW last week, hit small businesses and farmers particularly hard, especially in the area around Bowen.

What effect will this have on the supply of veggies? Last time it was bananas, what will it be this time?

The Daily’s Adrian Walton was joined by Ian Sinclair, Principal Consultant with Edge Land Planning, and PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, to discuss what may have to change about the resilience of Australia’s fresh food supply.
