Dictionary of Sydney – Dyarubbin

The Hawkesbury River, or Dyarubbin, is one of Sydney’s stunning waterways. A new exhibition at the State Library adds to the rich history of the area as told from the traditional land owners, the Darug people. Marika Duczynski from the State Library’s Indigenous Engagement branch spoke about the insightful and moving exhibition she’s curated, Dyarubbin, involving the work of Darug knowledge-holders, artists and educators Leanne Watson, Jasmine Seymour, Erin Wilkins and Rhiannon Wright.
