Digitizing Parramatta’s Local History

Parramatta is one of the oldest local governments in Australia, and for the longest time its council minutes and local oral histories were kept away under lock and key in large ledgers. However, a new initiative at the council to digitize these records and make them available publicly online is underway, bringing lost primary sources back into focus.
