Discussing the Philippou brothers’ new film: Bring Her Back

Looking for a movie to watch that scares you to the core? You’re in luck because the Philippou brothers have recently released another terrifying movie: Bring Her Back. The plot follows two step-siblings who are placed in the middle of an occult ritual to bring their foster mother’s daughter back to life.

Dr Jessica Balanzategui, Associate Professor in Media and Cinema in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT, joined us this morning to examine this film’s horrifying depiction of grief.
