Do People Want Cannabis Decriminalised?

The recent decision to decriminalise cannabis nationwide in Canada opens up the possibility for Australia to follow suit. Possession of the drug remains illegal in most Australian jurisdictions, but there are calls for this to be changed, with the majority of Australians believing it shouldn’t be a criminal offence. Jarryd Bartle, lecturer in criminal law at RMIT University joined James on The Daily to talk about the possibility of reform around the drug.
