Do your research with Dr. Karen Pearlman

Dr. Karen Pearlman’s most recent film ‘I want to make a film about women’ won the St Kilda Film Festival Best Documentary Award, the ‘Best Director’ award at Cinefest Oz Film Festival Short Film Awards, as well as the Australian Director’s Guild Awards for ‘Best Direction of a Documentary Short Subject’. 

Karen is a Senior Lecturer in Screen Production and Practice at Macquarie University and she explained to fellow Macquarie academic Helen Wolfenden that broadly speaking, she researches women in film history.
