Dragon Boating into the Year of the Rat

The Sydney Lunar New Year festival is starting this weekend and one of the biggest events each year is the Dragon boat races. What originated as a Chinese tradition to encourage rainfall has since evolved into a competitive water sport, with thousands of participants. 

Alan Boyd, the President of the Northern Beaches Dragon Boat Club, joined us to talk about the sport and the upcoming Lunar festival competition.
