Drug Testing Risks Further Marginalising Welfare Participants

Despite similar proposals being rejected in previous years, the Morrison Government are proposing a new trial where people on welfare to be drug tested. But these trials are constantly being opposed by welfare, health and drug treatment experts who say that the government should instead increase funds for drug treatment if they wanted to assist those who have drug issues and get them into the workforce.
